Terms & Conditions

By ordering any data product from Lists Direct, you accept the following terms and conditions. You also confirm that you are authorised to enter into this agreement by the organisation or person that you represent.

Your Licence to Use The Data

The data supplied to you may only be used for the benefit of a single organisation. You must not make it available in any form to a third party, including mailing houses and telemarketing agencies, without first obtaining the written permission of Lists Direct. You understand that a small number of traceable records may be placed in lists in order to protect our copyright. In the event that data is used without permission, an additional charge equal to the original cost of the list will be levied upon the licencee for each occurrence.

Limitation of Use

Data is supplied on a multiple use basis, which means that you can use the data as often as you wish during your licence period, provided that you adhere to the other clauses in this agreement. You must not use the data for any purpose other than legitimate business to business marketing and communications.

Our Warranty

Although Lists Direct makes every effort to ensure the quality and accuracy of the data it supplies, due the very large volumes of data involved, you accept that errors or omissions may sometimes occur. Notwithstanding this limitation, minor misspellings are unavoidable in view of the data volumes involved and not covered by the warranty. In order to make a claim, you must tell us which records are faulty so that we can check the details. Any claim must be made within 30 days of delivery of the list, as we cannot be responsible for subsequent changes in the data set.

Limitation of Our Liability

Same for the warranty above, Lists Direct cannot be held liable for any loss or damage, direct or consequential, however incurred, resulting from your use of the data.

General

Lists Direct reserves all rights in the products supplied. In the event of a dispute, the laws of England and the jurisdiction of the English Courts will apply. These terms do not affect any of your statutory rights.
